Norwich launches 'Pay As You Drive' insurance

Norwich Union has launched a new insurance policy for drivers in the UK.

The Pay As You Drive policy offers a usage-based motor insurance policy and calculates costs at 1p per mile and claims to reduce motorist premiums by up to one third.

Norwich Union has been trialling Pay As You Drive insurance since 2004, when a pilot of 5,000 motorists was launched.
